The Stryker Product Demo Cart was developed for their sales and marketing team who didn’t have a way to showcase all of the latest technology that Stryker has to offer. There needed to be a single, elegant way to demonstrate their products in a simple, yet effective manner.
We conducted interviews with key internal stakeholders and created concept sketches that balanced the functional needs with the intangible emotional needs of sales. The final product, fully furnished with equipment and marketing material, can be easily uncrated, positioned and deployed for a presentation by a single person in minutes.
This diamond blending system ensures that all ingredients blend together quickly and efficiently. A robust motor, unique one-piece, BPA-Free diamond pitcher, stainless steel blades, and electronic controls combine to create a powerful vortex that is fast and thorough for exceptional blending results.

Stryker’s Signature Drill Portfolio allows neuro surgeons to customize their preferences so that the drill performs the way they want. The system consists of three new motors, four new attachment lines, new cutting accessories, and a variety of user preferences to create their Signature custom-fit drill.
Located in West Michigan, our team naturally has vast experience in the design and engineering of residential and commercial major appliances, including laundry.
For multiple partners involved in the design and development of washers and dryers, we’ve interfaced with their internal teams to translate and advance the design principles of an existing visual brand language. We’ve also created new designs that have helped brands redefine their messaging.
We are also experienced in working with engineering groups and supply chain to work through performance requirements, design for manufacturing, and product quality. We work directly with supply chain or internal manufacturing groups to ensure the design intent is executed in a cost-effective manner.

System G bone-cutting tools and accessories deliver the accuracy, efficiency, and durability that exceed performance expectations for arthroplasty and trauma surgeries. Unique features include an aseptically transferable power module with battery and motor in one component, as well as a robust charger for minimal downtime.
Smart Equipment Management (SEM) is a Stryker online data module designed to help optimize tool control through device-derived, actionable data.
Its benefits include: proactive device maintenance, balanced product use, spend justification, simplified service, and asset tracking. We worked closely with Stryker to provide early user experience/user interface concept insights, as well as graphic assets for front-end development.
The Bissell PowerGlide® Pet Upright Vacuum is a super-powerful solution that helps pet parents remove embedded dirt and pet hair with ease. We worked closely with the Bissell team to refresh design elements to align with their visual brand language.
Surgical waste is a major concern for hospitals, as operating room staff can be exposed to infection and disease through contact with biohazardous substances, but proper disposal is extremely expensive. Neptune 3 is a fully enclosed, mobile system that helps evacuate surgical fluid and smoke in the operating room.
We supported the Industrial Design and A-surface execution of all major aesthetic components of the system. New materials and processes were suggested to improve quality, aesthetics, and cleanability. The end result was a dramatic step forward for the Neptune brand that communicated the sophistication of the solution, as well as the perception of product quality and value.

Essen Bioscience has defined a new category of laboratory tools for life science by capitalizing on the power of time. The IncuCyte S3 Live-Cell Analysis System enables scientists and researchers to better understand behaviors and functions via live-cell experimentation.
We conducted internal research with sales and marketing leaders across the organization to understand the end customer segmentation, collecting imagery of analogous products and design attributes that communicated the values of the end user.
Inspiration from end users and design attributes led to multiple concept themes that covered a broad spectrum of solutions. The silhouette of the enclosure was carefully balanced with the proportion, part break up, and CMF. The result was a cost-effective design solution that communicated a market leading technology with “one button” simplicity, and striking difference from the previous generation product.
In addition to the physical design, our work included the design of the controller and user interfaces to seamlessly deliver multiple points of entry and control in a user-centric, streamlined platform.
In addition to improving productivity for the individual user, IncuCyte S3’s software and hardware empowers an entire research team by allowing multiple users to run multiple applications on the IncuCyte in parallel, reducing time spent waiting for an instrument to become available.
Elasso is an ENT electrosurgical instrument developed by otolaryngologists that cuts, cauterizes, and collects soft tissue. Elasso’s leadership team asked us to develop the full brand.
We focused on the multi-purpose tip that “lassos” soft tissue and created a script-style “L” that plays off of the “lasso” theme. The prominent “L” mimics Elasso’s contour and color and can double as graphic icon when isolated.
Once we had the logo direction finalized, we created collateral such as brochures, business cards, trade show graphics, sales presentations, and product photography. Bringing it all together, we designed and built their website.
To create a nice product presentation, we created display stands that hold the tool upright.
